Mikail El-Yakub is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MKEL Networks, bringing over a decade of diverse industry experience spanning food and chemical consultancy, distribution management, engineering, oil and gas, property management, and telecommunications. His career reflects a consistent drive for innovation and leadership across multiple sectors. Mikail began his professional journey at 23, consulting in food and chemical processes, before moving into distribution management and later engineering consultancy. His engineering expertise was applied to large-scale infrastructure, including serving as Head of Survey for Julius Berger at the Bonny Bridge project. In 2013, he founded Clearcut Oil and Gas, focusing on the midstream sector, before expanding into property and estate management. Beyond business, Mikail is actively engaged in global and environmental initiatives. Mikail is a member of the Climate Change Initiative, the British Council, and the Environmental Society of Nigeria, and serves as a platinum member of the Global Carrier Community (GCC).Through these networks, he has participated in international workshops on conflict management, oil and gas investment, and telecommunications in key cities such as Milan, London, and Berlin. Mikail’s professional strengths lie in absolute management, strategic foresight, and building organizations that bridge local potential with global opportunities.
